Are you in search of a natural walking place in Onaizah? What’s better than Falayeh farm?
Falayeh is one of very beautiful farms located in the center of Onaizah city at 5 mins walk from Onaizah Mall. Don’t get confused between Falayeh Resort and Farm. Al Falayeh Resort is a private place and you need to book it by paying some amount, however, Falayeh Farm is situated next to Resort. Farm is also private but the care takers are so humble and will allow you to walk around the farm. The farm is abundant in palm trees, other vegetables and herbs & leaves are also grown by the farmers.
We visited the farm in the month of August so all the palm trees were full of fruits which were almost ready. Some of the trees were very low in height that we were able to pluck the fruits without any difficulty. You need to take permission from farmers if you are planning to visit the place in August and September and want to have some fresh dates. If you will go closer to the residential area of farmers which is within the farm then you will be surprised by some cattle’s and birds as well. Historical Fakhriya Mosque in the background of the farm also generates picturesque view for travelers.
Visiting Hours & Tips: It can be visited from 06:00 am to sunset everyday free of charge (only permission needed by care takers). Keep some water and food with you especially if you are accompanied by kids because there’s no shop in the farm.
